Equicort® Leave-on Conditioner 100mL

Each mL contains two active ingredients, budesonide 0.25mg and permethrin 40mg (25:75)

for the treatment and control of symptoms associated with insect bite hypersensitivity. It is formulated in a leave-on conditioner and can be applied once per week for effective treatment. This eliminates the need for multiple, regular medications assisting with owner compliance for this chronic disease.

Equicort® QLD Itch Treatment for Horses is a novel topical therapy for the treatment and control of symptoms associated with insect bite hypersensitivity in horses. It contains the active ingredients budesonide, a glucocorticoid, and permethrin, an insecticide, providing

control of skin inflammation, reducing pruritus, and addressing the cause of the disease by repelling biting midges.

Budesonide is a locally acting steroid that when applied topically, is absorbed and retained in skin cells by undergoing reversible esterification.

Equicort® is formulated in a leave-on conditioner that moisturises the coat, is easy to apply to both haired and non-haired skin, and readily absorbs into the skin without leaving a residue on the coat.
