Amoxyclav 50/ 250/ 500

(Amoxycillin/ Clavulanic acid)

Indication:
Treatment of bacterial infections caused by organisms sensitive to amoxycillin and clavulanic acid in dogs and cats.

Dosage and Administration:
Dogs and Cats
12.5mg/kg bodyweight twice daily.
Dose rates of up to 25mg/kg bodyweight have shown to be effective in refractory cases. Duration of the therapy is typically 5-7 days or for 48 hours after clinical signs have subsided. Longer duration of therapy (up to 28 days) is recommended for chronic cystitis and dermatitis conditions.
